Love our table and chairs! Emma worked with us to select the table, base, wood, finish, table edge and best chairs to match. Her store has beautiful furniture and her helpers (her kids!) are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our table is so well built! Better quality than anything we could ever buy from retail. Hoping to get resolution, this has been going on for over a year. One of our chairs was delivered damaged and one of our shelves was warped. They offered to make a new chair, but I felt like we could sand and stain the damaged area and it would be fine, trying to be nice. I asked for 2 more shelves to be made and one to replace the warped one. We still are waiting! It so disheartening, as we saved for these pieces and so wanted the experience to be a great one.
This is an Amish store run by an Amish woman. Yes, you can buy Amish furniture at a store in Rochester or along highway 52 between Rochester in Minneapolis, but why not go straight to the source? I have bought several Christmas gifts at this store — handmade wine stoppers, pens, seam rippers, and pencil holders. They are exquisite. We found a bench, seat cushions, wooden carved crochet hook and pen. The unique bench actually matches my end tables I just got! What a find. An extremely nice young lad (12 yrs old) helped us with everything. The parents should be very proud of him. He was so well spoken and mannered! Thank you! We will be back!
Purchased a rocker/recliner/swivel chair. Wonderful quality and very comfortable. Owners were very gracious and helpful.
