This care home was close to me so my father went there in 2020. Yes it is a fantastic looking facility but my dad was placed in the dementia unit and left to die. My dad could walk when he went in and probably because he was slow they put him in a chair with wheels and he never got out of it. He could not walk again on his own. They advertised all this entertainment and great facilities they had but all I could see was the dementia patients were excluded. In our experience the staff doing the actual caring work were good; kind, friendly mostly helpful. Dad's room was kept tidy and he was decently looked after. No problems with the actual care provided. The facility itself is nice and tidy, all good. However, their administration is VERY poor. Mistakes were made in the contract upon admission (for example: the maths did not add up in the documentation regarding costs, we were initially given a contract for another person with a similar surname with their personal details inclu... read more

I am always in awe of the patience, dedication and love that staff at TM showed to my father over the four years he was a resident until his death, and now the same level of exemplary care is being shown to my mother. They had/have very different needs: my father was physically very disabled but mentally fully alert, whilst Mum is mobile but has dementia.
