Absolutely brutal of a warranty company. I've been waiting a month for a claim without a timeline and without a vehicle. This is illegal under the consumer protection law and absolutely ridiculous that a company can expect their customers to wait this long without a resolve in sight.
My car ( a Mazda CX-9 ) broke-down on May20th/2026. I called Tri-care for a tow( my 1st time calling them since I bought the car )to a Mazda Dealer I have been using for regular maintenance. A couple of days later, I was informed that the engine needed to be replaced. Awful customer service. You call in for a lease buyout and they won't even give you the value of YOUR lease. Tell you that you need to call the dealer. Then you are at the dealers mercy of when you get a buyout
I have several warranties with Tricor. I have never made a claim, but have had great difficulties in keeping the warranties valid. I have a "rust" warranty. It used to be administered by WRCclaims for Tricor, which every year sent me a form for the dealership to inspect the vehicle. Administration of that warranty is now handled by Renscent Protection.
