Affordable, but the service is unprofessional and often disrespectful to Black clients. Some students clearly don’t want to do Black hair, rush through it carelessly, or hand clients off to teachers mid-service. I’ve been soaked multiple times, overheard students gossiping about instructors instead of learning, and seen them expect tips to avoid giving poor service next time. The aesthetics department feels professional, but the hair side needs serious oversight and accountability.
If only I could give this place a ten star review! I always have an amazing experience at Tricoci, but my most recent visit completely blew me away! Toni and Mr. Brandon, the instructor, made my hair look more fabulous than I could have ever imagined, and they ensured I had the best experience possible. My hairstylist (TAMARA) was so attentive and we both came to an agreement of a final look which I absolutely LOVE!! 11/10. 6 Stars out of 5. DEFINITELY coming back soon.
Tamera T did a fantastic job braiding my hair. She did exactly what I asked for with care and compassion. I recommend her for your haircare needs🤩🤩🤩
I wanted to give the students here a chance, so I booked a haircut with no stylist in particular. My appointment was scheduled for 11:15, and I even checked in early at 11. Unfortunately, they had clearly overbooked. Many staff members were tied up with big hair projects that were still progress when I arrived and left.
