Cassandra did an amazing job with a time sensitive loan. She got it done quickly and accurately. Her communication, effort and extra effort are to be commended. I appreciate Cassandra taking the time to understand the situation and help be a solution.
Avoid like the plaque. They have the worst customer service ever. I had a small balance with them left after a car loan. They have been sending my statements and any other correspondence to the wrong address. I have filled out their change of address form and mailed it to them, have called them multiple times. The mail still goes to the wrong address. They sent a letter saying they were going to close my account and send them money to the state of NH unclaimed property. Try to opt out of overdraft protection and you'll find yourself in a world of lies, confusing distortions of the truth and just plain bad customer service. Beware. They are not the nice kind of credit unions. They are like evil banks ready to take your money when your not perfect.

I Was kicked out from the bank at Franklin st. I had an appointment today for 8.30. I entered the bank 8.20. It was nice to hide from the rain. But then a strict employee kicked me out from the bank and locked all doors behind me - the bank was not supposed to be unlocked by that time. They unlocked the bank at 8.32 again. (I work at a small business and it is opposite of how I treat my customers...) Terrible service they refuse to give me my money. And refuses to do anything today like closing the account. Worst service ever.
Attempted to finance a simple trade in deal through triangle. Got approved with a great rate, finished up paperwork at the dealer, etc. After the deal was finished and my dealer sent the documents to them, they took issue with the dealer allowing me to take part of my equity home with me (because, you know, it's mine) and demanded that I re-contract without that piece. The application was received on 11/9/21 at 8:49 AM. Triangle Credit Union immediately approved financing for the vehicle. When we received the dealer funding package, the contract included a clause for "equity back to customer" listed as a $1,000 check. When we finance, our program is to buy the vehicle, not for cash out. Our rep explained that the maximum we can lend is the amount needed to purchase the vehicle and then sent a counteroffer to the dealership at 1:40 PM. BIG thumbs down. I have been a member of Triangle credit union for 35 years, car loans, mortgage, etc. Never late on payments, I have an 820 credit rating. I attempted to deposit an estate check in to an account and was told I needed to set up a separate Estate account. Ok. I was willing to do that. The person who I spoke with was not sure of all the regulations, so she called over an "expert". When a member is deceased, their consumer membership cannot remain open indefinitely therefore we allow for up to six months before it must be closed. They have been putting my loan payments in incorrectly, costing me hundreds s year in fees. I tried to resolve this with them, 2 hours on hold and they tell me they can not fix the error
Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced with any banking institution. If you need a response or information good luck.
