Changed from a Tri shop to budget bikes.
Seems to be getting run into the ground now that it’s more just a branch of Evans than anything else. Staff are friendly enough, but there’s definitely the feeling that it’s on its way to getting shut down. Quite a lot of stuff on heavy discount, picking up a clearance bargain is really about the only reason to recommend now.
Bought shoe covers. Was terribly assisted by one of the customer assistant. He did not allow me to try it but he assured that the shoe cover will fit in my shoes. Two weeks later the shoe cover was broken. Poor quality, poor advising
Credit for this review all belongs to David in the repairs/workshop area of the store. Brought my bike in to the store and David took it in, identifying the problem and resolving it all within a matter of 15 minutes. Walked out of the store and pedalled happily away on my intended bike ride. Top customer service skills. Thanks, you've gained a loyal customer for your good deed 👍 👏
