TVT established and provided all of the public transportation service in the county until the 2000 census re-designated the Nampa/Caldwell area from a rural to small urbanized area. TVT as a result of this process, no longer had jurisdiction over the small urban area as it went under the Valley Regional Transit Authority. It was snowing like crazy, my 82 year old grandma was waiting inside Dillard's, walked out for the 245pm bus at 240, was approaching the bus door and the bus took off because "she was running behind" if you cant wait 5 extra seconds for an 82 year old to walk safely to your door, and then you shut the door, see them waving you down, stop to say you're late and take off, that is absurd. Way to treat your community.
