So glad they went out of business! If they had a manager that didn't pop oxy and smoke weed all day, they may have retained their stellar employees. They offered no commission on sales, or piece rate for work performed. I hope the greedy owner took a big hit. Karma works sometimes.
I don't like to buy equipment for my bike from online retailers, so I always go to local bike shops, especially since they have everything I need for about the same price. I was greeted with warmth as soon as I entered this store. They were really helpful and personable.
We are from out of town. My fiance went to buy my son a trek and he had explained to someone what we were doing here and what we were into and all she said was, well, okay let me know if you need anything and just walked off. She wasnt even listening. Didn't offer to help find the right bike or what they had for us to look at. Because of the service we did not buy the bike. Other than that I loved the bike shop. I liked the floor boards and how they're bikes were set up!
Not well stocked & overpriced mom & pop operation. Service is dismal at best.
Can't say enough good things about these folks. I have 4 young ones and Treads ALWAYS takes good care of us and DOES NOT gouge you like others do. Very, very fair pricing and great work! The Tamburino family is a fan of TREADS!!
