The Atmosphere for Friday Lights is completely diminished, when an entire 25 percent of the Stadium is Condemned ..A Stadium That Houses 6 to 7 different High School Football programs, and only 75 percent of the stadium is open to seating due to structural concerns is absolutely an insult to Texas High School Football, the voters and the school board need to have their heads examined, will it take the collapse of a portion of the stadium, probably with young people in it, to wake people up...? A very dilapidated stadium with wonderful dedicated players and family in a tax rich community. An extremely disrespected and aged sports complex with dangerous, even roped off areas antiquated metal bleachers. Shameful. I live in Huntsville, Texas, with definitely poor tax base, but we have a beautiful new Huntsville High School Stadium funded by supporting taxpayers and home to Sam Houston State University. Lamar Consolidated ISD. The kids deserve better. The generations of players and families deserve better.
