I was originally happy with the X2 but I'm experiencing the same issues with having too much torque causing the X2 to lift and do wheelies like another reviewer commented. This happens on low power when trying to push trailers... 7x14 enclosed trailer when it was damaged. My employee tried to move the trailer forward and the front of the X2 jumped up, hit the bottom of the trailer bracket and broke E-stop button and 7-way power switch top. Improper documentation by Trax resulted in UPS trying to cod $905. No reponse from trax in two weeks and multiple attempts. Going to contest with my credit card as I have not received a dolly after a month and if the lack of response is any indication, I can’t imagine support in the future would be acceptable if they magically resolved this issue UPDATE: Not replying to customer emails or providing documentation request by UPS is a Trump thing?
First off this is a good company that takes a lot of pride in what they do. The equipment is well built and heavy duty. Here are my complaints with the process and the TRX 6000 1) if you’re in the US- find out what the tariffs are going to cost if possible before buying. I ended up paying an additional 900 dollars to have it released from customs. This is half the cost of the dolly. I purchased the X2 Dolly in May 2025 with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience with both the product and the company. From the start, things didn’t go well. The first dolly arrived completely dead, and I spent my first day troubleshooting over the phone.
