First off this is a good company that takes a lot of pride in what they do. The equipment is well built and heavy duty. Here are my complaints with the process and the TRX 6000 1) if you’re in the US- find out what the tariffs are going to cost if possible before buying. I ended up paying an additional 900 dollars to have it released from customs. This is half the cost of the dolly. I purchased the X2 Dolly in May 2025 with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience with both the product and the company. From the start, things didn’t go well. The first dolly arrived completely dead, and I spent my first day troubleshooting over the phone. When it finally powered up randomly, tech support considered it “good enough” instead of ensuring the unit was truly reliable. Great dolly initially. Didn't use it for about 18 months and the batteries were dead so I replaced the entire battery pack and it still would not function. Left 6 voicemails and 6 emails with the company and never received a single response to help me troubleshoot the issue. It's apparent they are happy to take your money for purchase, but if you ever have maintenance questions or needs, you're pretty much screwed based on my experience. I definitely will not be recommending.
I somehow misplaced the Turnbuckle on my GT8000 and I called Trax to order a replacement part. I was very impressed - I received the part the next day. Great Job by Customer Service.
Excellent RV mover! I have the GT8000 with 5th wheel adapter since 3/24. This makes it very easy going through some tight turns and a difficult back-in situation I just couldn't maneuver with the truck. I eventually replaced adapter bolts with 3/8" clevis hitch pins, see pic, making the setup/takedown much faster. Had some issues initially with nuts and bolts originally supplied. They did not match and TRAX sent me new hardware next day and in addition some extra battery connectors so I could wire up my battery charger prope... read more
