Great dolly initially. Didn't use it for about 18 months and the batteries were dead so I replaced the entire battery pack and it still would not function. Left 6 voicemails and 6 emails with the company and never received a single response to help me troubleshoot the issue. It's apparent they are happy to take your money for purchase, but if you ever have maintenance questions or needs, you're pretty much screwed based on my experience. I definitely will not be recommending.
I somehow misplaced the Turnbuckle on my GT8000 and I called Trax to order a replacement part. I was very impressed - I received the part the next day. Great Job by Customer Service.
Excellent RV mover! I have the GT8000 with 5th wheel adapter since 3/24. This makes it very easy going through some tight turns and a difficult back-in situation I just couldn't maneuver with the truck. I eventually replaced adapter bolts with 3/8" clevis hitch pins, see pic, making the setup/takedown much faster. Had some issues initially with nuts and bolts originally supplied. We got a TX6000 for our trimming business, we can maneuver into barns, tight spaces and narrow alleys. The dolly gets put through the wringer but stands up. Trax goes the extra distance to get us parts and service we need!
I am so glad I paid the extra money and purchased my Trax X2 beast. Wayne and Jeff were easy to work with and it was so exciting when it arrived and I watched Waynes install video. I was first interested in one of Trailer Valet's RXR units, but all the negative reviews kept me away from them. Spend the extra money and buy the X2 and you'll never look back. P.S. I used the 12 volts from the unused 7 pin plug to light up my trailer lights if I'm moving it at night.
