The room was nice and quiet on the top floor and very clean. The sheets pillow and mattress were like new. As other have said this feels a safe place to stay. There may be advantages of no cafe, bar as less people going and going. The hotel does not offer a hot breakfast but there is many places on the door steep that do. Within 3 min walk M and S, Aldi, John Lewis, Waitrose all the chain cafes and much more. There is also another Travelodge with a cafe bar 50 meters away. Simple and tidy hotel. B. Srinivasa at reception was very helpful and accommodating no matter the request or time of day!
Great location at the centre of Kingston and a short stroll to the river and loads (loads!) of stores and shopping in the area, if that's what you're into. Clean rooms, although you do have to pay for wifi which is annoying. The shower situation in our room was quite inconvenient – the curtain was pretty useless and the whole bathroom flooded after showers, but we only stayed for a couple of nights. Beds were comfortable enough.
