I work at UW and every time I’ve visited transportation services, they’ve been friendly, kind, and very helpful. I don’t know why the ratings are low here. They definitely deserve a 5 star review!!
Parking permit prices are insanely high even for students and the lots are entirely unsecured. At least once a quarter my car would be broken into or have windows busted and needing expensive repair and nothing would be done by transportation services or Uw police.
Purchased a annual spot in bike house last September, and it never works. I just can't get into the bike house with my card. I called them multiple times and the staff always promise me that there'll be a technician contacting me in the next few day. Guess what? I'm still waiting! They don't even give a shirt to my cancellation request. This bike house thing is just for advertising, nothing more.
Usually quick to get issues resolved. This is where you go to get your quarterly parking permit at UW. If you have a parking ticket and come here to dispute it, they will tell you to do it online. So if you have a ticket that you want to appeal, just do it online. It is a very easy process.
