The Skytrain gets me where I want to go quickly. That's good. What's not good is the filth of the rail cars (visible layers of grime), and the intense noise inside them. I have an app that measures decibels, and the inside of most cars is constantly about 90db. This is above what is allowed by BC workplace regulations -- so in other words, the level of noise is inhumane, contributes to hearing damage, and is probably illegal. I’m really disappointed with the way the driver treated me on the R2 bus toward Park Royal at around 7:20 PM on September 16. I was waiting for the bus, and when it arrived, I took literally about 10 seconds to grab my belongings from the bench and walk toward the door. The driver closed the door, then opened it and started yelling at me, saying I should get on immediately when the bus stops and shouldn’t take so long.
