This is the worst transit system I have ever experienced. The buses are sooooo unreliable. They just won’t show up and then you’re left stranded in the freezing cold late for your job/ class/ etc. NEVER rely on the bus, it will ghost you just like a man … This is my honest review.
the bus is always late, the bus tracker doesn’t do jack, the drivers are rude half the time. i just waited FOURTY FIVE minutes out in the freezing cold waiting for a bus that said it was at the same spot that whole time. You need a system to update riders if there’s an accident or something (bc everyone knows windsor bus drivers can’t drive) because leaving people waiting 45 minutes in -16 degrees weather is INSANE.

Ottawa 4 bus gets to my stop in Walkerville late, as usual, then the driver tells me to get off at the Tecumseh Mall Terminal after getting there unusually late due to traffic and icy roads (which is understandable). No other busses came. I was forced to walk back home, which is 30-40 minutes from the terminal, in the cold snow and icy roads/sidewalks. Nearly slipped a few times. Needs to be more convient to purchase and reload smart ride bus card...or the smart pass. It used to be you could get bus tickets at any shoppers drug mart....now you might as well toss the cards in the trash once used as it is too difficult to find a place to reload. I used to stop at the tecumseh mall shoppers on my way to or from work. Tecumseh mall has 4 or 5 bus routes intersecting...it makes sense to be able yo get refills there. The post office at shoppers does passport photos...why not be able to get a monthly bus pa... read more
