I learned from Roger in 2017 and treasure my practice and the experience I had learning. Wish I still lived near the center, but grateful for remote checking.
Just like brushing your teeth helps with dental hygiene, Transcendental Meditation (TM) is an effortless technique for mental hygiene. TM clears the mind of worries, anxiety and stress and leaves you energized and more resilient to deal with life's challenges. I highly recommend booking an intro to TM to learn of its benefits from the amazing senior instructors at the center. Just a visit to the center is itself relaxing, there is an atmosphere of peace and calm as you enter the facility.
I have been practicing TM for close to fifty years. You get to learn at a center as it is called. This one is the very best of all thanks to Roger and Katey
The Bethesda TM center is a wonderful environment and Katie and Roger are incredible instructors. They are welcoming and a pleasure to be in the company of. Learning TM has improved my life immeasurably. I feel happy instead of suffering from anxiety on a daily (constant) basis. My relationships are better. My work is better. My hobbies are better. I am more present than ever (because my mind is free of worry and dread and doubt). Like night and day. If you're thinking of learning TM, do it. It works. It really works.
I've been meditating for over 50 years, and recently attended a TM refresher there. I encourage anyone who is interested to attend a free lecture to learn about the benefits of TM.
