James has an artist's eye for color and composition. He cares enough to always go the extra mile to polish a shot, and most importantly, he is effervescent and fun to be around. For me this is a must have in a photographer, because having my picture can be taken nerve-wracking!

I did a photoshoot with James last year for a rebrand, and it was a very professional yet fun experience. We did 2 venues - his studio and Gasworks park. In studio, he asked me what type of music I would like to play to make me most comfortable. He also had great ideas at Gasworks, culminating in an awesome shot of me with the city behind me. He took some of the best photos of me that exist. I highly recommend Trainman Photography.

James is talented, professional, and fun! I hired James for a multi-generational family shoot in my house right before Christmas. His task was to photograph seven adults, three children—including a toddler and a baby—and three large, uncooperative dogs.
