The employees are so helpful and friendly - they helped me find everything that I needed and more! I was just passing through town and needed some gear for the next day and wanted to check out a local spot. The consignment section is amazing. Killer deals on lightly used, 100% functional gear for such a good deal. Most importantly, it’s small business, and it feels good knowing that you are directly supporting them when you shop there. 10/10 would recommend!
I could be over analyzing, but I had a rather uncomfortable experience at this store. I went in to browse with my young son. Was greeted kindly by a younger staff member. As I’m browsing, there is an older man behind the counter. My son an accidentally knocks a little ornament on the counter and it falls behind the counter. I really love the service that I received at this store. I was looking for new waterproof hiking boots, and went in a couple of weeks ago. The salesman was very helpful, and helped me try on about 4 or 5 pairs of boots. I couldn't decide, and I was unfamiliar with one of the "finalists", so told him I had to go back home and read more about it. I returned a little over a week later to try the boots on again. Placed an order in the store, was told I’d get a call to confirm if they were able to order it, never received that call. Instead I received a call two weeks later saying that it’s ready for pick up. Go to pick it up and the bald guy upfront made it a very unpleasant experience, making a rude comment that made me very uncomfortable. Will not be returning.
