The first time we went in, we talked with Kim...she made us want to come back. When we did, Rob assisted us with test drives and made sure we were comfortable with our investment. Love my bike and loved the service we got. I will definitely recommend Towpath to anyone who is in the market.
They were great! Kyle answered all my questions Monday and showed me what they had to offer and what to look for, since I'm a newbie. Went back Thursday to purchase a trek while their sale was still going on, and he had me test ride 3 bikes on the canal path (2 models/2 sizes) to see what fit/felt best. Ended up going 1 model higher than planned bc I could feel a huge difference in the drivetrain performance while switching gears. It was okay. I felt that the staff was uptight and worried that the bikes are made of glass. I was asked not to get the demo dirty because they didn't wanna clean it. I'm sorry, but if I'm buying a bike that costs close to $3k, I wanna see how it rides. Even if that means it might get slightly dirty. I wouldn't never intentionally ride it through puddles, but like I said, I'm not going to treat the demo like it's glass. Everyone has things they don't wanna do at their job.
