Good food - vegetarian choices! We had dinner at the the Black Mountain Bistro in late August 2009 and liked it very much. They even had choices for vegetarians - so we were very pleased! The service was good as well, and the prices were reasonable. We definitely plan to go back. It would be nice if they had local beer but their beer choices were pretty good and we were happy with what we ordered.
Good food When we visited Montreat/Black Mountain for a wedding, we all ate dinner here. The food was good, but the service was disappointing. Coincidentally, they were the caterers the next day for our friend's wedding. The food catered at the wedding was delicious. The experience the day after eating at the restaurant made up for what happened (for me at least) the day prior.
Great Staff and Food Black Mountain Bistro has very tasty entrees and a great variety. The staff is very friendly and remember you if you go a few time. They have good choices for children as well.
