I have never in my life been treated like these people have treated me. My husband is the one on the loan, and he was laid off for a period of about 5 months. He has paid off any loans he has had with them in the past, and never had problems. I have done business with Tower Loan for a number of years. I have had a great record with them on all of my previous loans. As soon as a hardship hit my family I tried to make arrangements to make at least partial payments untill things got better. They would make an arrangement, but when I would go in to pay they would refuse the agreed upon amount. Due to an unexpected hardship, I fell behind on ONE payment of less than $40.00 per month. I received several phone calls and made an arrangment to make my account current. However, before the date of the arrangement arrived. I received a return phone call from the most rude and unprofessional lady, Ruby, I have ever spoke to in my life. She was totally unprofessional!! Tower Loan is up front, i've been delinquent with them in the past, and yes they contact your job, and will continue to call you if you avoid contact with them, but they are fair and firm. They work with you as far as the are able, and as long as you treat them as you should treat anyone you have borrowed money from, with respect and courtesy to keep them informed they completely take care of you. I would never recommend this company to consumers! They harass you at work, home and on your cell phone! This is the most unprofessional financial institute I have every worked with. After asking 350 people in Tupelo, Ms to rate their experience with this company. 95% of them stated they would never borrow money from this institution again. So please listen, bypass their door and throw away the flyers they send you in the mail!!!!!!!!!!
