I absolutely would not order from TOV again. The product I ordered from them is wholesale from Four Hands. I knew it would be decent quality because I know Four Hands has a good reputation. With that being said, TOV leaves a lot to be desired in the communication and customer service department. I placed an order on June 6 for the Cassie table and 6 chairs. This company used to be great, but leadership/management changes have clearly happened recently (past 6 months) that they now refuse to refund any items that arrived damaged. This is now a scam artist company that should be avoided at all costs.
I've ordered from TOV for the last 10 years but something must have recently changed in terms of leadership/management that they are now refusing to compensate for items that arrived damage. If you don't have the shipping box anymore they say they can't refund you because you threw away the shipping box and they needed photos. So on my next order I saved the shipping box for an item that arrived badly damaged (a lamp that arrived with a cracked base). I ordered a cream colored velvet ottoman from TOV that arrived with the velvet visibly defective on one side of the ottoman and some discoloration on the other side. I had no way to mail the item back but I contacted TOV customer service and sent photos of the damaged velvet to ask that the price be reduced or a credit issued. Customer service responded that the damage was wrinkled material and that I was to go out and purchase a steamer to use on the fabric! What?
