I had a great experience from the front desk team, nurses and Dr. Carmichael. She was thorough and thoughtful. Happy that I have a new gynie :)
I had an appointment for over a month booked. I found this clinic through my insurance's website which told me they were in network. It is the day before my appointment and they tell me that they are not in network with insurance. I understand my insurance is trash (through the marketplace) so I asked about self pay. They told me that they couldn't take me as self pay, which is a lie. I have commercial insurance. The only insurance they cannot forgo for self pay is medicare/medicaid which is not what I have. I have been going to this office almost 5 years or more now and I thought I have found my forever gynecologist but I was wrong. Let's start with the front desk don't know her name but she calls everyone beautiful it's very disingenuine. She's very smug. Arrived 14 minutes late for my appointment she said I'm not sure if they're going to see you but sign in anyway. It was if she was waiting to have attitude or a argument with me the way she replied. Dr Carmichael is wonderful, she takes her time she listens to me, give me great feedback I never had a doctor that is so concern I love her and will never go know where else, I have my break downs and she pick up the pieces and put me back on the road. Thanks Dr Carmichael
