Fantastic blue corn empanadas! A gem!!
Best tortillas I've ever had, and I grew up in Texas so that's saying something! Extremely friendly owners, delicious tortillas that are healthy, and are made from heirloom corn varieties grown locally in Wisconsin. We stopped by on the Food & Farm tour and had an excellent time with the super friendly owners Heidi and Julian. Find these tortillas at Willy Steet Coop and locations across the state- Highly recommend!
Their tortillas have been the only brand we've bought for over 3 years (Always through another store, as they don't currently have as shop). I'm dedicated to only eating completely nixtamalized corn as it contains the whole grain, enhanced vitamins and minerals availability, and tastes great.
