I visited this store today and I was truly disappointed. I have never shopped at Torrid before but I came in with general expectations. I was never greeted by staff, and I felt misplaced in the store. I was walking throughout the store and found pieces I wanted to try on. Not one person came up to me to offer me a fitting room nor ask me how I was finding things. However, when more people came in, they were greeted and offered a fitting room upon arrival. I love Torrid’s clothing, but I’ve consistently had disappointing experiences at the Torrid store near me. No matter how busy or quiet the store is, the staff never seem genuinely helpful. After a brief “How are you today?” greeting, it’s crickets—no offers of assistance in finding items, let alone piecing outfits together. No one greeted us or acknowledged us unless it was begrudgingly. We were made to feel like a burden. I wasn't told about any sales or what the promotions were. The staff had comments that seemed to have double meaning or a more unkind vibe. "All this?" Like yes, do you not want me to shop here? We felt unwanted.

Girl who gave me my online order was super rude. I've thought about this for a few days, and I get that working for torrid isn't the best (I worked for torrid in 2020) but you don't have to take it out on your customers. Sorry it inconvenced you to have to do your job but like. :/ I'm editing this because actually it was really awful service and then they ignored me. Don't waste your time going to this store, you will be ignored and the associate will be rude as hell to you.
