From the initial paperwork to placement of our mum into the main section (low care units) the staff were welcoming, helpful, spent time and walked every step of the way to ensure mums transition was smooth, warm, friendly and caring. Being able to have fresh air and sunshine in the low care units was very important to mum and able to move freely around the walkways beats glitter and glamor hands down. It is the best place to live, very happy,very quiet people are always happy and friendly,plenty to do,staff are fabulous. Units are lovely.Hervey Bay is the best place to live. We have been in Torbay Retirement Village for 21 years now and would not like to live anywhere else.
