I ve been with Topside for several years now. My children have all began their youth savings through Topside, which I value as the utmost asset of the credit union. It's taught my shopaholic 18 year old the value of seeing money actually growing....just not on a tree. But, most recently, I value the Base Branch the most. Topside has been my go to Bank for 39 years and I absolutely love dealing with them. They handle all my banking needs with ease and a smile. If you go to the Augustine Branch and meet Barbara she will make you feel right at home and keep you laughing! A great bank to all the time!
This place has constantly disappointed me with customer service and hours of availability. It's absolutely ludicrous that you issue debit and credit cards but don't have 24 hour customer service in case of a fraud or security lockout caused by the poorly designed automated fraud system. You deal with Naval personnel that could be stationed anywhere in the world after leaving Dahlgren, so if they have to call in the middle of the night and the system they use arbitrarily lock you out there is literally nothing that can be don... read more

The tellers at the office on base are top notch and get my transactions done quickly. Tonia is who waited on me the other day.
