March 30 2016. Associates do NOT greet customer. DELI MEAT outdated. Seafood salad outdated. Zero eye contact. Employees chat with each other while it is a burden to wait on consumer Below level poor. 3 prices on each dry gricery item -CONFUSING and diffcult to compare. Ok for one or two items Only
Our large family recently moved to Grand Island, NY and we naturally went to the only grocery store in town: Tops Friendly Market! The moment we went in and saw the prices, we couldn’t believe what we saw! The prices were so incredibly high on everything in the store from milk and bread to fruits and vegetables. We ended up buying milk and decided to never come back to that store again. Those guys at Tops have taken monopoly and greed to a new level. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from Tops. Checking out in this Tops is very very very slow. Slower than a tortoise on Valium. Some of the check out ladies are in their 80.
Ok so here's the difference between Tops and any other store that gives a crap about customer service. In the past two weeks I have made the gross error of asking an employee to help me to locate a product in the store, Not my department. And they turn and walk. Hmmm. Maybe they should be at the department of labor, looking for another job. It seems that training employees about customer service has been missed in welcome training.
Worst Tops ever. Crappy produce. Worse than Jubilee. Decades behind Wegmans with higher prices. If it wasn't literally on the street next to my home I would never go there. Management must not care about the store and it shows!!!!
some of the older cashiers are crotchety and should get glasses, cant see to check out the proper items and are nasty when you tell them they scanned a product twice.
I don't know how this place is still in business. Higher prices and less selection than Wegmans. Only 2 cashiers on a Sunday morning with a 20+ minute wait in line. Wish I had never stopped there.
Lanes are so tiny. Broken down carts, not enough cashier
Very , very slow cashiers no matter when I go in. As a result, long, slow lines.
