Like many Colorado residents we experienced a severe hail storm in 2016. There were many of contractors stalking our neighborhood and we decided to go with Top that Roofing because they bragged about how good their roofing and subcontractor's were. Well... it was all good until we signed the contract. Once we did this it took months for them to do the work and communication was slim to none. We ended up cancelling some of the other services with them because we were disappointed in how they conducted themselves. The first issue was the window installer did not install the correct window and left it lose. We later had to have them come back out and install the correct window. The window was loose and there was a gap between the wall and the framing and it was unstable. Next they did not install the correct window in our master bedroom. We had our house inspected and discovered that the window in that bathroom was supposed to be tempered glass. Now we have to have a new window installed that will cost of 400.00 dollars. I spoke with Phil Chavez (GM) who stated he could not resolve this issue which is contrary to what they said when they wanted to earn our business. I will never ever do business with this company again. They are absolutely horrible! Lastly, I had a roof installed and within 2 years a shingle off the roof blew off an it took them months to replace the roof and a ton of posturing and trying to get out of replacing the roof. Again it took them months to fix the roof, and there was doubt as to whether they would replace it. Interestingly enough, they were more than willing to suggest us filing an insurance claim. They did finally fix the roof and are generally kind; however, being nice does not make up for accountability and keeping your word. I sent them all of the insurance paperwork that clearly states that they were responsible for the windows they installed and naturally, they shifted blame to the insurance company. Problem is they are not on USAA's preferred contractors list so we can only go through the contractor. At the time all of USAA's preferred contractors had no availability and were booked so we took a chance, never again! Buyer beware and avoid this company like the plague!

I am a new member of the organization. We are truly a team of individuals, who came together with honesty, integrity, and transparency as our personal goals we use as a business platform. Where do I start. First, I want to personally thank David Cox for the best home improvement experience ever. You can't get a better contractor than him. From the start to even now after successfully completing the project and me, the homeowner delaying the payment (not intentionally, the bank is painful to deal with), he has always been communicative and supportive and sincerely care about his customers. We have a very complicated roofing project. To start, it is a very large cedar shingle roof with many ridges and ups and downs. Second, our HOA won't approve asphalt shingles. The replacement has to be either steel or tile. David took on a very difficult task to negotiate with the insurance company, sourcing the right contractor for this difficult project while still trying to maintain my out of pocket expense to be just my deductible. That was really tough to execute and he did it. The roof turned out GRAND and BEAUTIFUL with decra stone coated steel. His crew came back multiple times after I put on the gutter to complete the project. He really has reliable and skillful teams working for him. The most impressive part of this whole project is that due to my roof's complexity, the project when over by a few thousand dollars. He didn't want to cause me stress, he just worked with his office to negotiate with State Farm and got the money from the insurance company instead. Now that's top notch customer service. You seriously can't get anybody better than David Cox. Go with him, you will love him and his crew. I know I have a roof guy for life!

Top That Roofing just replaced our hail damaged roof. We had excellent customer service. Jared LeBlanc was our salesman/project manager. He was easy to communicate with and he has great follow through. Jared and others from the company checked with us throughout the process to see if we were satisfied. They quickly rectified any issues that we had. (Nails around the house.) Our roof looks great! Our roof passed the county inspection and our insurance inspection. We recommend this company to others. Thank you, Jared and Top that Roofing!
Business Response:

Thank you Mrs. Regina, it was a pleasure.
