TOOLS PLUS began selling tools from the trunk of a car, on a cold, blustery day in March of 1987 in Troy, Ohio, just north of Dayton. Within a few months, we had purchased the first of several step vans and we were "off to the races". We began selling at various swap meets and car/automobile shows. At these meets and shows, we would talk to many customers about ideas for new products and product development.
