Great Selection! OK Facility, Negative Customer Service – I was so excited when I walked in...a great location and huge selection! Then.....I started walking the place and as I tried looking at their stuff I had to endure the employees...all three young teenage boys wiping down tanks and talking of their nights out. Best Place to Get Crabs – Owners and workers are helpful. They've got a great selection of aquariums and hardware. Best prices on fish food, too.

Best Fish Shop – I go here anytime I need anything for my tank. They always have everything I am looking for with prices that beat just about anybody. The staff is also very friendly and helpfull.

Service was terrible – I have purchased fish from here only once. The reason I wont buy fish from here is the quality. The fish look stressed, and the water quality was filthy. I got the fish home and the next day my tank was loaded with snails. Never had a single snail before, after a ton. Prices are ok, but why pay money to a place where the staff wont even help. Rude and disinterested people work here.

i love tongs – tongs is great, never had a problem here. the staff is great, not the quickest to my side but they definetly look like they keep themselves busy, so i dont really complain about that. as soon as i ask for help they are there to do whatever.

good price, nice selection – i went to tongs today (my first time there), and i was amazed by how much stuff they have. It was worth the visit. If you live in orange county, you need to visit this store. the store is well stocked. i was able to get everything i need in one visit. so many fish and coral as well as supplies. the prices are comparable with other stores (actually on the cheaper side of fish). overall experience is excellent. definitly will go back again.

same thing when i went to Tong's – Hey Johndoreme, I experienced the. Have you been to Jeff's Exotic in Orange yet? They are my favorite store by far. Whenever i go there they treat my like family. Prices and selection are very compatative, too.

Poor customer service, good prices – Where does the owner get the help? If the selection of merchandise is shoddy, Tongs would be the last place I would buy fish. Fortunately, they sell them for reasonable prices, even though some of the fishes look sickly while some tanks look murky at times. Money is really not an issue with me. If I could find a similar store around O.C. but with a much better service, I would be more than willing to pay the extra dollars. Recommended, BUT... – Customer service is great depending on the specific, sales representative. Read the expiration date on items because they will not tell you, until it's too late. Call ahead for product availability. The store has a factory feel to it. Fish is what you want, this is the place, but CAREFULLY check the condition of each fish...
