I recently purchased a pair of earrings for my daughter while visiting Ketchikan and stopped by Tom’s Treasure. Unfortunately, the earrings were damaged during our return flight home. I reached out to the shop with little expectation, just hoping for some guidance—and I was blown away by their response. Tom was absolutely wonderful! She explained the origin and artist background of many pieces I was looking at, and was happy to take things down or out of cases for me to compare. This was undoubtedly my favorite store in Ketchikan. It’s a locally owned gem that offers a wide variety of beautiful pieces, including jewelry and other souvenirs. I highly recommend stopping in for a browse!
Beautiful store full of Alaskan treasures! I spent the weekend in Ketchikan (off season) to relax and spend some time on the water. This was one of the only stores open. They made me feel so welcome and took their time to explain the history of all the pieces I was looking at. Ended up purchasing a few lovely handcrafted items. Don’t miss it when you’re in town!
