Tomichi Point is an incredible overlook in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and one of those places where the view immediately reminds you just how powerful nature can be. Standing at the edge and looking down into the dramatically narrow canyon is an unforgettable experience. The steep, dark rock walls rising from the Gunnison River create an amazing contrast with the surrounding Colorado landscape. Tomichi Point at Black Canyon has breathtaking views and beautiful scenery. It was sad to see so many trees damaged by the wildfires, but the area is still worth visiting.
