Been raising tomato plants to share with neighbors, family and friends for over 20 years. This year I ordered 9 different varieties from TGS and absolutely none of these new seeds germinated. In one half of the same containers I planted whatever I had left from years gone by and had 95-98% sprout. So I sent TGS a very calm and courteous email to which they replied they would get back to me in a couple of business days…Guess what, haven’t heard a word from them since. Purchased Early First Prize tomato seeds from this place for my 2024 garden. None of the 15 plants from their seeds were EFP tomatoes. They were some kind of determinant, yellow garbage. Purchased Liam's Brandywine tomato seeds for my 2025 garden. None of the 20 plants are Liam's. I don't make a living growing tomatoes, but this crap is too annoying. Won't be buying seed from these clowns for my 2026 garden.

Unfortunately, having used TGS for 20 years, I’m done. Things went south when Linda Sapp sold the company. EVERY year since, the genetics are weak, mixed up, and almost EVERY pack of tomato seeds produces tomatoes that aren’t what you thought you were growing. This year, my Granny Cantrell even produced three totally different tomatoes, and even a striped one. These aren’t genetic variations, they’re different seeds in the packs.
