Our experience this year has been different. Our son is a 1st grader this year and last year EAC was more accommodating than this year. For example, last year, staff members could hold him accountable in such a way that would have us assuring that our child would have fun at the same time. Last year a staff member would mention, "he had a rough start but he got it together...we will continue to work with him and I'm excited to see him tomorrow". My son has attended EAC this school year, and I have been thrilled with their performance. They go over his behavior with us when he is picked up. His homework is always done, and they offer him help when he needs it. That is a huge relief to us when considering all that has to be done before bedtime in our busy home. I highly recommend Extend a Care.
The teachers are friendly and nice. Would like more reinforcement of no bullying..great after school experience for my child.
This is our first year using Extend-A-Care since we just moved to Texas. I have been very pleased with the care my child has received, she was scared to start a new place but the young ladies made her feel so welcomed she didn't want to be picked up early. :)
