I was paired with Kathi in 2023 for a business return for 2022. Due to gun violence in her family, our taxes were not submitted on time, an extension was not submitted on time, and the IRS charged over $800 in fees. I reached out to the firm to have them take care of the $800+ fee, and they said they would take care of it with the IRS as it wasn't my fault. I tried this firm out this year and had a terrible experience. First, they didn’t start working my return till the day prior to tax day due to some out of office issues. I’d been reaching out since February. Then, they sent over a message estimating I owed $6k… that night I did my taxes on TurboTax and had a refund of $2500. Dunn CPA Firm, and especially Anthony Courtney, are amazing. I've been struggling with trying to figure out some tax and government registration issues with a C Corporation I have been trying to close down. Doing it myself was so mindboggling.
