I can see why this company has great reviews and has been in business so long. I recently obtained some older model Toby speakers and had a question about them. Emailed this store after hours ..got a response immediately which was unexpected, but really appreciated. Highly recommend anyone who would want to deal with a thoughtful business such as this.
I own 3 generations of Toby Guinn Speakers: In our library we have 1972 Toby Towers. Still today these beat anything on the market. Find a pair on the internet and you won’t be disappointed…. Mine have serial numbers hand-written by Toby himself. High fidelity, sub-woofer sound… I met Toby at his shop on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth, an NTSU physics graduate in 1968, I was in awe of him…. he was a member of the NTSU 1 O’Clock Jazz Lab Band…. I have owned 2 of the cube 10’s for 6 years and they sound great. Unfortunately one of them suddenly died. I called the company and for a very reasonable fee, they quickly sent a replacement amplifier. A simple replacement and it’s like new. This was outstanding support. The story continues…the same subwoofer died again, another replacement sent, and it turned out that the binding post came loose. Again, a simple fix and I returned the unneeded replacement amplifier.
