Never bring family here! Most positive reviews come from employees. This place is dangerous for residents and short term patients. There is no leadership and therapy is sub-par. If they were better my dad would not have had multiple falls. Dangerously low staffing. Just go to Rim or to the Valley

My mother was here for therapy. HUGE mistake! PT was rude, uncaring, and did not know how to do his job. The nursing staff ignored my mother's decline resulting in hospitalization. I will NEVER return to Payson Care Center and highly recommend you never bring anyone here.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES bring your family member, friend, enemy, or anyone here! This place is dangerous, has ZERO leadership, and is not safe. High fall and UTI rates because of patient neglect from understaffed and non-caring staff. They give out the emergency door code allowing anyone to come and go without anyone knowing. They had a homeless person living in one of the rooms in the closed-off area for several days before realizing this and never reported it to families or law enforcement. Don't come here for living or rehabilitation. The nurses abuse the patients and residents. when I give examples, this ad won't let me post. They abuse their patients here and treat them / us with complete contempt. Runaway none of the pictures that they show in this ad are accurate. Just come down at a mealtime and you can witness for yourself how the people here are treated. or should I say mistreated. No one should be treated the way the staff here treats people. BEWARE! THIS IS THE WORST FACILITY IN SOUTH FLORIDA. THEY WILL KILL YOUR LOVED ONE! STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. SERIOUSLY... THE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT ARE INCREDIBLY RUDE AND HEARTLESS, THEY DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH "PROBLEM" PATIENTS - THEY WILL "DUMP" THEM AKA SEND THEM TO THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE THEM RELOCATED BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO DEAL. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A "REHAB/NURSING HOME", IT'S MORE LIKE A DEATH WISH. THINK TWICE BEFORE EVEN CONSIDERING THIS POS FACILITY.
