TLC, My Dog's Nightmare – Our experience with TLC Kennel located in 5516 Cannon Drive, Monroe, NC was horrible and would not recommend this kennel to anyone. My dog spent only two nights in June 2011 and got so sick that I had to rush him to the emergency clinic. From what I recently read, commercial kennels should follow strict hygiene procedures, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of cages and food and water containers. Fleas and snakes I will not take my dogs back to this place. They got fleas while they were there and I asked the lady to show me where they had been allowed to go out and play. While over there she and I saw a snake. They had no idea if my dogs were eating or not. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
