They deleted my first review because they don’t want people knowing how terrible an discriminative their company is but I’ll keep protesting about it until something is done. Terrible company to work for. They don’t hold parents accountable for treating you with disrespect and not paying you AND the supervisors lie and show favoritism towards employees and could care less if you get the job that best suits you especially as a BIPOC woman. I’ve just completed working with TLC for baby sitters after 8 years. It’s been full of high highs and low lows. They definitely don’t always have the same quality of providers; some are excellent, alas many are not. Overall, I found them empathetic, helpful most of the time; I do not blame them for some of the low quality of providers they had, but do wish they could screen better. It was overall a positive experience

If I could give a zero I would because Tara is very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to speak to people when you’re in a position as a supervisor .. there are ways to conduct yourself . They have false advertisements about getting hours and if you get a job cancelled you don’t make any money and the job seems very sketchy and they don’t try to reschedule and altogether the company is no good so I don’t recommend working there . I recently interviewed for a nanny position at TLC. I was told via email that due to my years of experience and list of references I should be employed immediately. I spoke with an individual in regards to my application and I must say my experience was quite negative. I was asked why I was seeking temporary employment and I answered honestly by saying that I was pregnant and needed temp work but that I would like to transition to full time if they happened to have anything! I recently used TLC to book a sitter while on vacation in Florida. We had a wonderful experience with our sitter Stephanie! We were two families staying together and she did an amazing job! We didn't have much in the house to entertain the kids since we were there on vacation but she brought card games and played with them. A couple of the kids had a hard time falling asleep being in an unfamiliar house and away from their parents and she sat with them until they fell asleep. We highly recommend TLC!
