I had a great experience with Tip Top a year ago. I was an idiot who left his suit purchase to the last minute - a particularly egregious blunder as this was for my girlfriend's best friend's wedding. Nevertheless, Raymond could not have been more awesome - helping us find just the right suit, fit, telling us other funny "last minute suit" stories etc. He made me happy and, more importantly, he made my girlfriend happy. Went to a few different locations, to say I received zero service is an understatement. Went to buy suits for our wedding ended up with none. The whole process of signing up before hand to get the deal but online doesn't give all the options. Lack of knowledge about stock. Called multiple times and told I needed to call the 1800 also wrote an email regarding stock and no response. Awful. Went in FOUR different times to buy suits and we were not offered to try anything on at any visit.
Excellent service. They were really knowable and helpful.
Ordered a suit online due to sizing not being available in store. When it arrives I saw my order was incorrect, wrong coloured pants that did not match my jacket. Returned in store but they again did not have my size. Was told to order online but customer service has not returned calls or emails regarding pricing the pants as they were purchased as a combo with the jacket. Will be returning the jacket (navy) and the other full suit (black) purchased in store.
There are only two staff members working at a time, and they seem overwhelmed with the workload. It’s clear that additional support is needed. Unfortunately, the correct alterations weren’t made to the dress pants, and we had to wait again for them to be fixed. Overall, the service experience was disappointing—I wouldn’t recommend this store or location.
