I’ve been a member with TFCU for over 10 years. I’ve received several cars loans and personal loans through TFCU. Everyone who works at this location is very professional and courteous. I recommend this credit union to everyone.
I haven’t been to the OKC branch but I’m sure they all have the same rules. I have a new account and I have $1600 in it. At least $1300 of it was from a remote deposit I did over their app. It’s on hold for about a month (at least)and I’m getting charged $22 every day for checks I wrote to use my money! This is a load of crap! I was told when I deposited the $ that it would be put on hold but it doesn’t say how long. I figured a couple of days or I wouldn’t of deposited it! Shysters!! $22.50 per overdraft "protection". The only payment they reject? Car payment!! Twice!! You can be 2 grand overdrawn and they will pay every debit as long as it's not important. The ones you need covered; like a car payment; they reject so that they can hit you for more of the $22.50 charges on a $5 sub. $20 gas, etc. Most unscrupulous bunch of thieves this side of Washington, DC.
Great place to do all of your financial business with. Great loan rates and friendly customer service. Their app is a tad of a letdown, i.e no mobile deposit, but everything else is top notch. Great local bank that isn't trying to be a Bank of America!
I have been using Tinker Federal Credit Union for about 10 years and over the years I have seen a large number of miscellaneous fees that keep popping up. These are neither advertised or mentioned until you inquire about them. Courtesy fees for one.
