TFCU in Bayshore, the worst bank the Assistant Bank Manager Angela has her nose up in the air and she is not willing to help. The desk helper's also the same a client came in to get some help with their account's and they wouldn't help the poor person. All she needed was money wired to another bank (To purchase her house) and they said NO. When she required to withdraw her money out they said no, because they want to take the money and run with it. How sad that this bank has turned out to be a joke of a bank.
I have been a Tinker Credit Union Customer for over 30 years, TFCU has gone from the best Credit Union to the Worse in the pas 3-4 years. I had over $100,000. imbesseled from my Tinker Checking account. Tinker was changing their on line Account software, and the new software was a compleete failure. I have dealt with Tinker Federal Credit Union for over 30 years, I always thought they were the best. Approximately 3 years ago I noticed Tinker installed a new electronic banking system that did not work. Because the new system was a failure, their phone lines were jammed with unhappy members and it would take 40 minutes to accomplish a task that should be accomplished in 3 minutes. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rude employees. Can you rate them below a one star, if so that my rating.
Tinker has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with in 55 years! If you take a loan with them, they will add funds to your loan without contacting you! Be warned!! I would never recommend borrowing money from this institution! Trust me I’ve been through hell with them for two month. Now trying to refinance with another better institution!! Be warned!!! I got a third notice by mail stating I need to show proof of insurance or they would take coverage for me and charge funds to my loan. Well I did show proof but they ... read more
Over 2-hour wait on phone calls and a website that doesn't work since they changed internet providers. Poor security and my account has been broken into via the internet more than twice and no contact from TFCU. I have not choice after well over 10 years of being a customer to close all accounts with this institution.
Upon working through the process of financing a house, Tinker Federal Credit Union informed us that we could use a gift of equity to cover the closing costs and down payment for the house. We were excited, but skeptical because the gift of equity, as explained to us by Tinker Federal Credit Union, sounded too good to be true. If I could give a negative review, I would. We had a car loan with them that we refinanced. However, they insisted that we switch to their GAP insurance (which when I went to the car dealer to cancel the GAP...they warned me to not do so...but the interest rate was lower so we did). Well, my daughter was in an accident and the car was totalled.
