I can't recommend this care home although my relative is being adequately looked after and there are some very good members of staff as the managers have made communication so difficult. Relations are always fraught with care homes as having a relative with dementia is hard. This home is advertised as luxury, but the luxury isn't in the important things instead on items which might be important to the few but not everyone. Lovely place to work, great team and staff do their best. Of course the same as any other care home there will always be areas to improve on. And for our wonderful residents and their families we welcome feedback in which we can seek to improve on. It takes a village as they say. What is unfortunate is when Google reviews aren’t used for genuine opinions , genuine ones both positive and negative which shows a balanced view are expected. My mum has been here for nearly a year. The home is modern, spacious and clean, although not very homely, there are some lovely, cheerful carers, but the care and carers are inconsistent and there appears to be a lack of basic common sense and empathy. It is very difficult when you have a relative who can no longer clearly communicate with you and tell you how they feel or what they might want, you have to go by what you see on visits and what the home communicates with you.
