Worth the drive to Byron! We found the perfect piece of reclaimed wood for our fireplace project: a hand-hewn piece of white oak that we are excited to finish and hang once our reno project is under way. Dan was very friendly and helpful in answering all of our questions. I was impressed not only with his knowledge, but his clean, organized wood shop! This place was so great and Dan was wonderful- extremely knowledgeable and friendly, even helped me secure the very large wood pieces to my car. There was a ton of great quality wood. Can't wait to come back for our fireplace mantle project. Highly recommend!
