I worked with Melissa to update our living/ dining areas - with some furniture, a rug and draperies. Please know that she is an exceptionally kind person. That said, I feel duped. Her design fees are on the high end and her ideas aren’t. The ideas presented were exceptionally basic, lacked creativity and overpriced. Whatever Melissa dreams up for her clients’ cabinets, we can build it! She’s so creative and client focused. The possibilities are endless, from color and door designs to hardware. I love doing crafts—mostly quilting and painting—but needed my own dedicated space separate from our family room. Melissa found it in the large mechanical room in our basement. She camouflaged the equipment, repurposed my oak drafting table as the island and designed a J-shaped work counter with plenty of storage. Our next project is a basement kitchenette and workout room. If you have an idea for making your home better, bounce it off Melissa. She’ll find a way to make it happen!

After Melissa did such a great job remodeling our basement in our old home, we knew she was up for a much larger project. We bought a seasonal, A-frame, knotty pine lake home that my in-laws built in the early 70's and made it into our retirement home. Melissa was able to translate "contractor speak" so we could always make the right decisions. We added a master bedroom and bath and walk-in closet.
