We visited The Slab Factory for the first time this afternoon with friends, with both couples seeking special timber for a breakfast bar. Nathan, who bought the business recently, could not have been more helpful, showing us an array of fabulous slabs of different timbers. After selecting one length of jacaranda, and one of a stunning eucalypt, Nathan ran ours through a plane and drum sander, and we have arrived home with our new bench.
