Been here for a while week. Lovely although tiny place for a some chillout and reset. Great for retired people. Been with my 2yo. Lodges wives you a great vibe and nice smell of wood, however, animals are allowed, and people coming without them are not considered for lodges where no animals allowed. Our was smelly, you could smell the urine of an animal and smell of dog or a cat. Not the cleanest place I’ve stayed at, but not too bad. Very comfy beds. no tv in bedroom, not really anything for kids to do at night. need free shower gel, dishwasher tabs. not everyone inc me does not pack everything.
Lovely place peaceful dogs welcome lodge had everything make sure you take groceries not many shops
Me and my husband had an amazing stay here! It’s in an ideal spot to get to places but far enough away to chill in the countryside. We especially loved feeding the ducks and getting alerted of their presence outside our lodge haha! Thank you for a lovely stay I’m certain we will be back again next year.
