Our daughter just started attending Tierra Encantada in Overland Park and this was her first daycare experience. She has been sad and nervous starting out attending because this was a new experience, but her teachers and the administration team have been so supportive and have really been sweet with helping her adjust and feel at home during her time at daycare.
In BV, this is the (probably only) one daycare that has a very good teacher to student ratio for the 2 years old classroom! To enroll our non-Spanish speaking child in this daycare was not something we would have thought of, but we are very happy that we did! The school is clean and bright, the food are nutritious and made from scratch, the teachers are nice and friendly. Yes, there is a turnover of teachers, just like any other daycare. We are very happy with this daycare. The staff is loving, patient, and very professional. My daughter feels happy, safe, and excited to go every day, and as a mom, that gives me great peace of mind. We definitely recommend this place!
We have been sending our child to Tierra now for almost 4 weeks. Our initial experience has been nothing but positive. Most importantly, the staff seems attentive and caring. As first time parents, we have been happy with the first month of care.
I made the decision to move my toddler from another daycare to Tierra Encantada because I was unhappy with the other place. This has been the best decision for us as a family. My son is happier, and a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The teachers are incredibly caring and the Director Miss Yolanda takes the time to talk to you and is so welcoming. As soon as you walk in, there is a good energy in the place - not to mention the from-scratch food!! I should have moved him over sooner
