We were schedule to close and underwriting was doing everything they could to prevent us from getting the loan. We couldn't use or own money for anything and the only way to get the loan was gifted money, sell of of our necessary vehicles, or somehow get someone to pay $5k for a quarterly profit and loss statement. I would never deal with these folks again.

I worked with Elizabeth “Peyton” von Hirsch at Tidewater Mortgage. She was very friendly and made herself accessible at all times, which was important due to my time zone difference. She was also very open to discuss and update their offer based on other competition.

Could not have been worse. Screwed around trying to close my loan for 4-5 months, then finally told me they could not close the deal because of a technicality. And that no one would be able to close the loan because of that issue. Funny I went to someone else and they closed the loan in less than 30 days with the same issue. Costing me both time and money since the rates went up. Steer clear of these guys, they are hopeless!

Marie Field was AMAZING!!!! She ensured that we would get my loan closed and she worked extremely hard to do just that!!! She answered all questions that I had without making me feel like a worrisome customer. She even called me on my closing day to make sure I was ok prior to closing. She is absolutely wonderful! Thank you Marie!!!!!

Jeremy, David, and their team were amazing to work with. I'm sure I wasn't the easiest case to handle, but they never once made me feel any less valued. Very informative and kept me in the loop every step of the process. Thank you for helping me buy my first home! Highly recommend.

I rented a house from Lynn and Robert "Bob" Teravainen, in all I did was rent a nightmare. The house is infested with roaches, which was undeniable by SMELL once the fresh paint dried, not up to code, feel free to inbox me for pictures, and just shows the type of people they are. I have never met a more dishonest man in my life! Renting or buying I wouldn't care! I'd spend my money elsewhere!!

Tidewater Mortgage is AWESOME!!! Angie Sebree was my loan officer when I bought my home and when I refinanced my home for a lower interest rate. She is amazing at what she does. When I first purchased my home using the VA my whole purchase was completed in 25 days and when I refinanced it was just as fast!!! Would definitely recommend Tidewater mortgage to my friends or people looking for mortgage services!!!
