Worst Lending experience, I have been giving a run around for almost a month now. I have provided all documents they have requested, very poor communication. I wish I have never applied for loan with TIAA. If I have to redo it again I will never go to TIAA bank! Re: Response from owner I have been calling the customer service number for almost a month. If it didn't resolve then how will it resolve now.
I started my first home buying experience with TIAA. The loan officer, Tammy was very nice at first. However, after I found a home and went under contract my mortgage app was denied. I understand lenders have different overlays in addition to federal guidelines and I didn't meet theirs. No big deal. What makes me never want to recommend TIAA is that Tammy told the listing agent my financing was denied even though I had 30 days to secure financing per my sales contract.
